Who I am.

I'm Kate Simpson, owner and director of Tangledom.

I specialise in helping content-rich organisations find the information and knowledge they need when they need it.

I've spent the last 10+ years turning a legal education into a passion for complex information spaces (law firms, publishing, government, etc). I tend toward the obsessive when exploring the different ways we can make information and knowledge easier to find, use, share and manage within our organisations. It is now over three years ago that I went from permanent to freelance work and it seems to be going well so far.

I recently joined the online FUMSI Magazine as their Contributing Editor for 'Manage' (www.fumsi.com/manage), and write on a monthly basis about the challenges of managing the tangled information spaces at our organisations. I am always on the look out for authors writing about both individual and specific organisation's challenges and experiences so if you'd like to get published, please let me know.
